2023 - Update 8:

Broadstone's AV63 is seen operating the Ghost Bus with its purple wheel trims on New Bride Street on the 25th February 2023 (click on photo for larger version).

Ghost Bus AV63, Lucy, was "recently" updated to have purple wheel trims, well recent meaning since at least last October but I hadn't caught up with it till now. I'm not sure if AV64 has been similarly treated, as I haven't seen it, but one would presume so. The purple wheel trims are a nice touch. Previously, the wheels were the standard Dublin Bus type, which are quite modern looking. Though its wheels may now have that older look, the ALX400 itself hasn't aged as much as previous types. It is worth reminding that this bus is 23 years old this year, the oldest bus in revenue earning service with Dublin Bus. Lucy has a long way to go to make the 42 years of active service of her predecessor, Molly (DF450), but 23 years and counting is impressive in its own right. That said Summerhill, that bestowed the Ghost Buses with names, no longer operate the service, with Broadstone having taken over. The names are no longer displayed on the rear of the bus, something which was an especially nice touch when the buses were used on an earlier in the day, kids Ghost Bus Tour, which has not come back post-Covid. So is it just AV63 again??
