Mid Summer brings Pride to Dublin. Dublin Bus has been a key supported of Pride over the years, with many buses participating in the parade especially open-toppers. This year the tradition of wrapping buses in Pride colours has continued, with no less than 4 buses this year. Donnybrook's EV98 and Conyngham Road's EV64 appear in the same tri-sided wrap noting "The Long Road to Pride", celebrating the achievements of the Pride Parade/Protest over it's 50 year history. EV97 was given a similar wrap but with glitter balls also on it. It however is not expected to run in service in this livery. This year the open-topper, one of which has consistently appeared in the parade in recent memory, was also given a full overall wrap for Pride, the first overall advert since AV397 in 2011. AV441 was the bus chosen for the occassion this year. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with the remaining Pride buses over the coming days, but at least I caught up with EV64 to allow a topical photo of the week this Pride weekend. Enjoy Pride!
