Photo of the Week - Week 21:

Ringsend's ALX400-bodied Volvo B7LDD, AX480, is seen operating Route 150 on St. Thomas Road on the first day of its new routing Sunday 15th May 2011.

May saw the withdrawal of Route 121. On the northside the route went without replacement, however its unique section through the Coombe, the Tenters and Crumlin was retained with a diverted Route 150.

The 150 continues between its two former termini of Fleet Street and Rossmore, however the 150 now goes via The Coombe, Ardee Street, in through the Tenters on the 121's former route before serving Clogher and Kildare Roads. It rejoins its former route at the Gala Bingo club in Drimnagh.

The new Route also brought full double-deck operation to Route 150. WV47-52, which made up about half the former PVR have now be transferred to Donnybrook, who in turn sent AV198-203 to Ringsend. AV200 is seen below on its first day of Ringsend operation.

AV200 is seen on its first day of operation from Ringsend operating Route 150 on Sally's Bridge en route to Rossmore on the 15th May 2011.
