2023 - Update 25:

Harristown's recently returned to service EV3 is seen operating an X30 on the second day of Harristown operation on St John's Road West on the 12th September 2023 (click on photo for larger version).

On the weekend of the 10th September, Phibsboro moved to a block based driver allocation system, following Clontarf and Donnybrook. For example, drivers on the 39/A will also work the C1/C2 in Phibsboro and with the new duties there were a few movements of services. A number of peak hour 37, 38, 39, 70 departures that were previously operated by Harristown/Broadstone have now moved to the standard boards in Phibsboro. For Broadstone, this meant the return of some of the X25, X31, X32 Euros that had recently been transferred to Phibsboro. For Harristown this freed up a couple of Euros, but in the end they ended up with more Euros, with a new 33X departure and the take over of the X30 Euros from Broadstone requiring the return to service of EV3 and EV4.

Harristown's AX619 is seen operating the X30 on Westland Row on the 22nd September 2023 (click on photo for larger version).

The sight of Harristown buses in Lucan is not completely out of the norm given they operated the 25D until the C-spine launch. However, the operation of Donnybrook buses out to Blessington is quite odd. On the same date, starting 11th September, a school-term extra on the 65 switched from Ringsend to Donnybrook. This board operates an 0730 departure ex Blessington returning at 1540 ex Poolbeg Street, except on Wednesdays when the afternoon departure is brought forward to 1250 ex Poolbeg Street to match school closing times.

Donnybrook's SG325 is seen operating the school-term only Route 65 departure on Dame Street on the 22nd September 2023 (click on photo for larger version).
