Photo of the Week - Week 10:

Harristown's then brand-new SG382 is seen operating one of the morning Harristown universals on Route 46A on the 25th May 2018 (click on photo for larger version).

The 46A is a route that has seen many other garages help out over the years. This was principally buses working back into the city from Belfield in the morning. However, these days its really only Clontarf that still operate these shorts. Harristown Euros principally will work back as a 4 if they work back at all, while Phibsboro/Broadstone buses will operate short 39As. From the 29th January 2018 however, Harristown were given new universals operating short 46As from Foxrock Church to Parnell Square West, departing at 07.10hrs, 07.25hrs, 07.40hrs and 07.55hrs. These run only during school term time. Upon reaching Parnell Square West they "call control", being allocated to the Merrion Road corridor principally, with Route 7 departures being common. It is interesting to catch these buses, which often look out of place.

Harristown's SG159 is seen operating Route 46A on Dawson Street on the 15th February 2019 (click on photo for larger version).

Harristown's former RV631 is seen on a morning peak hour short Route 46A on the 15th October 2010. This bus would have operated from Belfield only (click on photo for larger version).
