2021 - Update 7:

Go Ahead's 11589 is seen in its new AOA for Dublin Pride 2021 operating Route 75 on the 19th June 2021 (click on photo for larger version).

The word AOA has not been used in a while on a regular service. For those not familiar with the concept, AOA is the acronym for All-Over Advertisement. AV441 was the last, back in 2019, but this was a Tour Bus. The last AOA bus operating a Dublin Bus PSO service was AV397 in its HB AOA in the summer of 2011, exactly 10 years ago. Instead terms like tri-sided wrap, a cumbersome description, have been regularly used on these pages. But the AOA is back in the form of Go Ahead's 11589, which has received a very attractive AOA for Dublin Pride 2021.

In a Covid world, Pride this year will be virtual, with broadcasts from the Mansion House in Dublin on the 26th June 2021. So it makes it more important that Pride be recognised this year, so one must commend both Go-Ahead and TFI for promoting the message. The livery is very attractive, being painted as opposed to wrapped. The only confusion is with regards to the messaging. Go Ahead has been "proudly serving the community since 2018", however the signage doesn't really mention Go Ahead. Instead the large signage next to the TFI logo seems to indicate that TFI are only proud of their services since 2018, which begs the question of what they have thought of their services in the 8 years prior (TFI being around since 2010).
