Photo of the Week - Week 29:

Donnybrook's EV97 is seen on temporary loan in Clontarf operating Route 130 on Beresford Place on the 14th July 2018 (click on photo for larger version).

It's been a few weeks since the last update. Of note since the last update is the temporary loan of EV97 to Clontarf. EV97 entered service there on the 11th July, and was still in service there on Friday (20th July). It had last operated in Donnybrook at the end of April. Otherwise there has been a continuous stream of SGs into service, a few a week since the last update, allowing for more buses to be taken out of service for transfer to Go Ahead. Of note is that Summerhill have received a few new SGs, the last garage in the city to do so (see photo of SG445 below).

Summerhill's brand-new SG445 is seen operating Route 123 on Lord Edward Street on the 15th July 2018, one of few rainy days recently (click on photo for larger version).

The following is the standing of the 2018 SG fleet as of the 22nd July 2018:
  • Haristown: SG371-SG385, SG401-SG408, SG410, SG411.
  • Donnybrook: SG386-SG396.
  • Phibsborough: SG414-SG421.
  • Conyngham Road: SG425-SG428.
  • Ringsend: SG432-SG434.
  • Clontarf: SG438-SG441.
  • Summerhill: SG444-SG445.

  • Ringsend's SG434 is seen operating Route 65B on South Great George's Street on the 15th July 2018 (click on photo for larger version).
