2024 - Update 31:

Jamestown Road's VG13 is seen operating Route 70D on Collins Avenue Extension on the 30th October 2024. The red notice in the window proves the Jamestown allocation with the VGs going around noting they should only be given fuel from Jamestown depot's allocation (click on photo for larger version).

The DCU routes have appeared on these pages a few times, mainly because they keep moving depots, and autumn 2024 didn't disappoint with the routes moving once again and this time to two different depots. The routes returned after their summer break on the 26th August 2024. From this date the 42D has been operated from Clontarf depot. The 70D remained in Harristown initially but it too moved, being operated out of Jamestown Road deport from the 19th October 2024. Jamestown Road is officially a sub-depot of Phibsboro, similar to how Bray is for Donnybrook or Summerhill is for Skerries. It will become a full depot in a few months, though it would appear to be a short-lived depot with planning permission only being for a few years.
