2021 - Update 14:

Donnybrook's EV23 is seen in its new Bumble Dating App tri-sided wrap operating Route 155 outside Ikea on the St. Margarets Road on the 29th July 2021 (click on photo for larger version).

The summer always brings at least one wrap into the Dublin Bus fleet. Donnybrook generally receives the bulk of the wraps, and EV23 is often the bus of choice having received a disabilities awareness (Purple) and a Deliveroo wrap in recent times. Like the Brennan's wrap a number of years back, the yellow wrap for Bumble suits the livery quite well. Bumble is a dating app, similar to Tinder, launched back in 2014 by a former Tinder executive. Its main differentiation from Tinder is its "women first" approach.

EV23 entered service in the wrap on the evening of the 12th July. For its first weeks, it spent time on the 54A, 11 and 7s, but is seemingly allocated consistently to the 155 now. The 155 is a good route for wraps being cross city and covering two of the main city arteries. Donnybrook religiously keep the EVs tucked away at the weekend, but this approach changed this weekend, with the bus appearing yesterday (Saturday 31st July) and today (Sunday 1st August) on all-day boards on the 155. Hopefully this approach can continue for all EV wraps going forward.
