SGs continue to arrive with the imminent deadline for pure diesel buses on the horizon. The next garages to start getting SGs have been Conyngham Road and Ringsend. Conyngham Road put SG517 and SG518 into service on the 24th January, the batch being complete with the entry of SG526 into service on the 9th February. As a result of these SGs, all AVs have been withdrawn in Conyngham Road. Ringsend put SG527 into service on the 7th February, and have currently only 4 of their 20 bus batch in service. The last Ringsend AV, AV415, was in service on Thursday 21st February, so may still be available for next week, but if so, is surely in its final days. If and when it goes, this will leave Phibsboro (Broadstone) and Summerhill as the only depots with AVs in service.

Ringsend's brand new SG528 is seen operating an evening service to Jobstown on College Green on the 15th February 2019 (click on photo for larger version).
